Thanksgiving Tabletells

I love Thanksgiving. In our family, it is not just a day where are our tummies are stuffed to the brim of the most of delicious of food (though, it is - thanks mom!) — but a day where our hearts are shared + the faithfulness of The Lord declared. A day when we ask each other to stop + ponder what we are thankful for. A day where we ask for specific evidences of the Lords faithfulness to us in the past year.

My hope, is that these tells encourage that kind of conversation around your table. I designed them to be simple, versatile, to match any table setting, and to provide you with different ways to either say thanks or prompt your loved ones to share what their thankful for.

Here is some inspiration for different ways to use the tells as part of your tablescape!

“Thank You Thank You”

Idea for putting this tell in action: The host writes a little thank you to the guest. ( How cool would it be to sit down at a table and hear why someone is thankful for you!!!)

I manipulated the eucalyptus to bend in line with the shape of the plate and loved how it turned out!!

This napkin is Magnolia and I bunched it up in a little ball for something different. I also spread out a few potatoes for fun (do ya see them?!). This is the “Thank you Thank You” tell as well.

“Give Thanks to the Lord”

Idea for putting this tell in action: When guests arrive have them write down something they are thankful to the Lord for in the past year. Collect them and put them around the table. As your time of prayer before the meal - have everyone go around and share what theirs say. After each person reads, say together- “Give Thanks to the Lord for He is good!”

I love how the tells match with any color napkin you throw at them!

I leaned this tell against a kids toy block haha!

“Im Thankful For…”

Idea for putting this tell in action: Provide a pen or pencil at each table setting. During the meal everyone writes down something they are thankful for. Collect them, shuffle them + pass them back out. Then try to guess who said what!

These fun colored pencils make it easy to provide a writing utensil while keeping it pretty!

And of course, dried eucalyptus coming in clutch.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST - NEVER FORGET ABOUT THE KIDS TABLE….!!
